Not even Hurricane Joaquin could rain on Alyssa and Sean’s wedding-day parade, thanks to Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia’s bright, welcoming ambiance and accommodating staff. The couple met as neighbors in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, and although they now live outside of DC, they wanted to return to their beloved Philly for the big day. The couple felt captivated by the vibe of Stratus Lounge, calling it mysterious and inviting. And due to the inclement weather, they were thrilled to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception under one roof (plus guests spending the night under that same roof!). From their honeymoon suite, the newlyweds enjoyed a stunning view of the Constitution Center and Independence Hall.

Memorable Details

The very personal ceremony was officiated by one of the pair’s best friends, and they loved the chair set-up that allowed guests to feel closer to the action. Thankfully, the room’s décor matched the couple’s color scheme, so they didn’t need to add much—only a few pillars and flowers.

Memorable Details

The reception proved lively with a hopping dance floor, and everyone from the ring bearer to the couple’s grandparents adored the band All About Me. The guests also loved the meals the couple had chosen, the wine service, all of the desserts and the great staff that never left a glass become empty.
